Data Deletion Request

You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data that BellCount holds. This page explains what data we hold, how deletion works, and how to submit a request.

1. What Data We Hold

Depending on how you use BellCount, we may hold the following types of personal data:

  • Contact information voluntarily provided when communicating with support
  • App usage and analytics data
  • Support correspondence
  • Device identifiers and crash reports

2. What Happens When You Request Deletion

Upon receiving a verified deletion request, we will:

  • Delete personal information held by BellCount related to support requests, analytics records where applicable, and other identifiable information under our control
  • Remove data stored under BellCount-controlled systems where applicable
  • Cease any personalized data processing tied to your request
  • Confirm deletion within 30 days of your verified request

Please note: some data may be retained for a limited period as required by law (e.g., financial transaction records) or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention. Retained data will not be used for any other purpose.

3. Data Stored on Your Device

BellCount stores workout data and preferences locally on your device. This data is not affected by a deletion request submitted to us. To remove locally stored data, you may uninstall the BellCount app and, where applicable, remove associated data from iCloud and Apple Health.

4. iCloud and Apple Health Data

If you use iCloud synchronization, BellCount data may also be stored within your personal iCloud account. You can manage or remove this data through your Apple account settings and by disabling BellCount's access to iCloud where applicable.

Workout and health information stored in Apple Health is managed by Apple and can be removed through the Apple Health application at any time.

5. Submit a Deletion Request

To request deletion of your personal data, contact us at bellcountapp@gmail.com with the following information:

  • Subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
  • A description of the data you would like deleted
  • Any identifying information that will help us locate your data (e.g., device type, approximate dates of support contact)

We will respond within 30 days of receiving your request. We may request additional information to verify your identity before processing a deletion request.

6. Subscription Cancellation

Requesting data deletion does not automatically cancel an active subscription. Please cancel your subscription through the App Store separately to avoid future charges. See our Subscription Terms for instructions.
